Artist Statement

I work in mixed techniques, using different media, such as oil, acrylic, golden and bronze powder creating abstract art with help of “art puzzles” – separate pieces that represent one big thing if put together but also as separate object when set apart. The viewer perception is very important to me and I prefer to create an artwork with the meaning that is hidden, not obvious, that be examined under different angles, prospectives, life and cultural experiences, which is very enriching and motivating to me. Every work of the is like a child to me, unique and carries the part of my inner world. It’s alwaysvivid, dynamic and makes you go and think deep inside of your innerself I and life comprehension. My last solo show in Ireland is named “Puzzles of Life” – a tribute represent every Ukrainian, every person fleeing the war or refugee, whose lives have been broken and who are still trying to put all their life puzzles back together, or better yet, create something new.  The event is a tribute to thousands of Ukrainians who are currently residing in Ireland trying to build their lives from scratch and to all people, who had to flee the war hoping for a better future for their children. As a huge optimist, I always use bright colours as I always see my glass half full, not half emptyThrough my artwork I try to deliver this message to the public:«Even in new circumstances the life can be full of colors, new perspectives and interesting opportunities, as long as you stay strong and motivated. Just believe in yourself». Life is a canvas awaiting our
masterpiece.
